On the occasion of the one year anniversary of the founding of the Palestinian Family Medicine Association, the Family Medicine Association held the first international conference on family medicine. British IDFMP, fellow doctors from the Netherlands, and 250 Palestinian doctors

Representatives of the Ministry of Health participated in the opening of the conference, the Undersecretary of the Ministry, Dr. Asaad Al-Ramlawi, and Dr. Issa Khalil, representing the Faculty of Medicine at An-Najah National University in Nablus.

The conference opened with a speech by the President of the Conference and the President of the Society, Dr. Muhammad Rabie, during which he clarified the relationship that links the Society with the Ministry of Health and Oversight and the Medical Council, as the relationship contributed to the development of the specialty of family medicine in Palestine. Dr. Rabie welcomed fellow doctors from home and abroad.

Dr. Rabei talked about the goals, ambitions and aspirations of the association in the future and the challenges that the specialization faces, so that the association can double the development and excellence of this specialization.
